What is this class action about?
This class action was commenced against Lenovo (Canada) Inc. and Superfish Inc. alleging that the companies breached certain implied warranties and invaded consumers’ privacy by pre-installing a potentially malicious software called Visual Discovery designed by Superfish Inc. on several Lenovo laptops.
Settlement agreements have been reached with both Lenovo (Canada) Inc. and Superfish Inc. such that the class action is now fully resolved.
How much money will I receive?
Payments will be distributed on a proportional basis to class members who submit eligible claims based on the number of laptops purchased. It is anticipated that all claims will receive a minimum payment of at least $60 per laptop purchased.
